Bio
Angus is an Applied Scientist working on Amazon Alexa. He was formerly a Research Associate working on human interaction with a robot assistant in a hospital, and on machine learning / data science projects within The NHS, Scottish Government, and private clients in many sectors, including finance.
He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and has both an MSc in Artificial Intelligence with Speech and Multimodal Interaction (Distinction), and a BSc (with Honours) in Mathematics.

Misc...
Ran the Spartan Ultramarathon in Wales, 2022. This was a 58k race with 71 obstacles and an elevation gain of 2,800m (Ben Nevis twice!).
Have also completed a few marathons. The first was in Edinburgh in 2015, and the last was the London Marathon 2022.
Started and grew online flat searching groups. I sold these to a letting agent at 40,000 members.
Was a qualified lifeguard in 2014.
I founded a wooden sunglasses company while studying mathematics. These were sold in shops across Scotland and online.
Flew in a helicopter while dressed as an elf in 2011.
